I find the 201 and 125 both hard to believe. SL said we had more like 40-50 there (at one point they counted them and got to 25!). And, apart from a bit of singing near the beginning, I don't remembering hearing our lot, which is a bit odd these days. The SL mics were picking up a bit of BW 'singing', but it sounded like only 2 or 3 fans. Trust me, it was c.125 (they might have counted 25 behind our goal in the first half at one point once the rain set in) easy enough to count them, most were sitting down in the segregated seating area, then there were about 50 Wood further along in the same stand, plus around 75 more Wood in the main stand, and then the 8 'soles, behind their goal, or did you see something different from where you saw the game JDL? Couldn't see too much from where I was - mostly the walls of the living room... But very impressed that we took so many - I got the feeling during the 'build-up' that few fans were really bothered about this game. What a shambles of a club - outnumbered by away support at National level! It wasn't for all the ground rental they get, they'd be playing Chatham in the Isthmian North.

Good to know I wasn't the only bored one! I got 56 along from us, 6 behind their end & didn't bother with the other stand because of press & club officials. Pretty surreal walking into a "proper" (kent cup can jog on) 1st team game with so few people - Especially following Bromley! I take it you were filming? SL were spreading vicious rumours that you hadn't bothered to turn up...

I take it you were filming? SL were spreading vicious rumours that you hadn't bothered to turn up... I went as a spectator - Im on a 100% attendance thus far that I wanted to maintain, it'd be a shame to lose it somewhere so local! After filming last time I found out other clubs were boycotting - I didn't realise at the time, obviously aware there was a lot of animosity towards B Wood with regards to press, but didn't realise there was an actual boycott. They were charging us double the Stones Live fee - £96 all in, granted £100 is about 12p in adult money these days so that wasn't an issue as I'm lucky that the service is well backed. I just felt it'd be wrong knowing that other clubs media were boycotting and yet still filming & I'm many things, but I'm not a scab.

We have to stand up against this sort of thing and stick together.

Typical boreham wood, well run club but f**k me what's the point when nobody wants to watch you?
I didn't go today but the bank holiday game was quality day at the wood, where once again we kept a clean sheet there. £18 to get in but they had a decent burger wagon.

They are Ryman North as far as attendances go and the sooner they crawl back there the better. No place for them in National using the Areasnal money - they have virtually no genuine fans as today proves !!

According to the NL banter page on FB it was 130 stones in the crowd of 201, when I saw it I couldn't help but laugh, 71 home fans for a conference side is absolutely diabolical!

Odd report in the NLP. Not sure the writer was at the same match. I thought it was quite entertaining.

In the pub after the match someone showed me the Chairman's notes from yesterday's programme. He complains that we have been very rude to BW, both on this forum and the club's Twitter feed. Well Mr Hunter, I don't think anything we've said about your dire little club and your ludicrous attitude to filming or commentating has been any more than you deserve. When the Arsenal money dries up you'll be back playing county league where you belong

I was fortunate to have the decision of whether to go or not taken out of my hands as still knocked out of action after surgery. They do make me chuckle with their holier than though attitude though.

For the record, I did the Stones Live count and got to about 25 behind the goal then had to stop for some reason, so I would say that Stones TV is about right. I would say that every steward (i.e. hi viz jacket)I spoke to at BW was very good, but that is about as far as it goes. As BW have made it clear that they are monitoring our social media it may be best if I said no more, but please feel free to ask me personally if you would like my opinion.

I was involved in a friendly chat with one of the BW. Their chairman has no write to curb my right to free speech.
Does he work for MI5?
