I didn't expect us to win today but started to feel we might get something during the first half. Then we let in a crap goal, heads go down long balls start in the second half. Loose all sense of passing play from the first half. The second goes in and all the imagination goes out the window. The subs made some impact and the last 15 mins wasnt bad but just too late to bring anything back. Tom mills motm
We have played strong teams these last few league games. I think we've founded our league position maybe a little higher but we must beat the teams below us to rack up the points we need to stay up.

We simply haven't got the personal for a 442 or a 433. Our ball winning was improved but our passing was poor again today. We couldn't keep the ball long enough to bring our attacking players on the ball in dangerous positions. In my view its so important our midfield needs protect our back four as well as dominating possession. The only way we can do that with what we got is to pack out the centre because our pass and movement isn't yet good enough. My motm Worgan three outstanding saves.

Sadly our midfield let us down once again. Ach was talking to the other defenders all the time and you have to credit his leadership. Lokko seemed back to his earlier season form. Up front Flish looked off the pace today, even before he was injured. I agree with the points made about Paxo but to be fair to him, he never gave up and was always trying to create something.
To me it seems that we need more experience in midfield. They were slicing through us like a hot knife through butter and you have to say, while I'm sure the new guys up front will be an improvement, they need more service from midfield. We desperately need someone like Paxo could be with a couple of years extra experience.

Not sure how you can blame Worgs! !! Bottom line is we need a stronger midfield and to cut out silly errors. We need to make more of our pace up front which means playing to feet. Personally today's performance was frustrating but we have played worse. It's all about confidence..still think we will be ok - just! Worgs is a bona fide legend but he was at fault for the first goal.

Our tempo only improved when we went 2-0 down, nothing to lose then... All game on the rare time that we did not hit the ball long, our build up play in their half was too slow. Just watch the highlights and see how quickly they moved the ball from defence to attack..

Anyone want to tell me what Rogers brings to the team. Can't score, can't pass, can't tackle and never any movement. Let's bring in a more experienced midfielder at this level. If he is in the team to break up play and protect the back four then he is doing a poor job doing that. We looked much better when he went off.

Not good enough today, the midfield has got to be sorted, no ball winners with quality. Always second to the ball and don't win many 50/50's, like to see more experience in the middle and move the ball quicker. A great playing surface and we play the long ball? Worgan was the best, got to stop giving away stupid goals, nearly every week now. We knew it was going to be hard, but more players are getting found out by this level. 1 question, how was that not a penalty?

Where have all these new members come from ? " Worgs not good enough at this level " " End of the Saunders era" " Rochdale a team 9th in the 1st Division is a poor draw ? "
The end of the world is coming to an end shortly ( even quicker if Trump gets in)
Yes we are lacking confidence Yes we do need an injection of experience to support what is a young squad Yes we do need a win No we don't need whole sale changes to the management No we don't need to change a keeper who is probably worth 15 points a season (possibly the difference between staying up and relegation)
Its easy to support a team when all you have had is success and glory, but its times like this that the team needs our support.

Simply staggering some of the comments tonight, those twats saying Worgan isn't good enough need to take their heads out of their arses, he kept us in the game.
Just a gentle reminder to those supporters who expected us to be pissing the league......WAKE UP.....if we stay up and I believe we will this season it is down to consolidation and nothing else

In fairness, it is not just on this forum that I have heard some fans questioning if Worgs is on the slide Strange but true. I guess when results are not going your way all players can come under the microscope, even one of our best. Pretty sure for most supporters he remains one of the league's finest.

Take off the rose tinted glasses. Worgan is struggling as much as anyone in the team. However I'm more concerned about Saunders, as he keeps saying the right things ...but seems incapable of putting it into action. He may need some help...

For me, Worgan and Evans were our two best players. Lee made at least 3 quality saves including one from point blank range and Jack was putting some really good deliveries into the box but no one seemed to be strong enough to challenge for them. We could moan about the result and so on but this is a period where Jay and the lads need our support more than ever. Here's a solution, how about people stop leaving the game early with like 10 minutes to go, it's pathetic really. Stick with the boys and Jay and Nicky will turn it around, they are more than capable of doing that, COYS!!
