A lot of Stones Live interviews in it, apparently. (This was mentioned during the only 10 minutes of today's commentary I actually managed to hear!)

it made good listening en-route to the Borehamwood match yesterday. Its particularly good for those of us whom are newbies to MUFC.

I thought an hour probably wasn't quite enough. It rather skimmed over the County League and Kent league days, maybe because there wasn't much recorded material available, and I thought they could have gone into a bit more detail about the lead-up to the club folding, and the Oliver and Terry takeover. The interviews with John Still, Steve Butler and Jason Lillis were interesting, but over all I was a bit disappointed with the lack of depth.

There Is also a short article in this months When Saturday Comes about the Stones . Which wasn't bad, but they did overestimate how many fans we got at London Road, saying the average was over 2,000. The figure quoted might have been distorted by a cup game, but we normally only got around 1,000 on Saturdays.

As did most other big non league teams at the time? 1000 was quite respectable if I recall.
Didn't know WSC was still going. Is it still in WHS? I remember going to that shop in Charing Cross Road to hunt out obscure fanzines.

It was one of the biggest fan bases in the country outside the FL at the time, certainly the biggest in Kent. Smiths is the only place I know of in Maidstone that sells WSC.

I really enjoyed it, yes there was a lot missing but to be honest with our history a 3 or 4 hour programme would not be enough. Some nice interviews too.

Don't know if anyone spotted the one major gaff though? They were talking about Terry and Oliver taking over the club. Roger Day then said something like "And then the news everyone had been waiting for...." then they proceeded to play a recording of PBB (in 2004) saying that the Club was going to return to the town in 2 years. Think the Beeb must have thought PBB was Terry or something.

Or that was an interview when PBB got planning permission. He promised two years to the media but of course it took much longer. Great to see Radio Kent doing a special on us. Other clubs must be seething..ha ha.

I doubt they are seething we have by far the worse coverage of any Kent major team on that station... @uck nows what we we need to do to get a decent mention most match days ... It's been laughable
