Sorry guys this coach was sold out whilst I was still pushing the Chester one Double Decker isn't available I'm afraid, I asked that question weeks ago iMUSC lost nearly £200 on running the Chester coach with 'drop outs' and 'no shows' on the day, so having had our fingers burnt we couldn't risk a second coach It's also a risk upgrading to the Double Decker as it costs us 50% more than the normal coach, but we try our best to get as many supporters to games as we can

Drop outs and no shows?! Shame on them. Should be cash up front.

Cash up front is all very well but, how do we get the money? When the club did it, they had an office, I certainly dont want people turning at my house to pay in the evenings! Before a home game means either giving up my pre-match refreshment, I already spend about 8 hrs work on each coach, and walking home with a bundle of cash isn't great for my health! Generally speaking it hasn't been a problem, It was unfortunate that nobody wanted to use the coach to Chester when it seems I could have sold out the Double Decker (had it been available) for Tranmere We haven't had to before, but we may have to insist on payment should a seat be cancelled unless we can re-sell it, as the trips are now longer and several 'drop outs & no shows' can really damage the costings on coaches

People should pay in advance to a PayPal account you can set up, if they drop out, they only get it back if you replace their booking. You do a great job, and people should make it easier for you, or we could lose it and that would be a shame, in the old days I remember the club hiring trains lol

Perhaps those that don't show or cancel last minute should be put on a reserve list and told there's no guarantee of a seat on future coaches if more reliable fans want those places. Only when enough seats have been sold to fans not on the naughty list and costs have been covered they will have the chance to book a seat.

Get them to do a Bacs transfer. If they cancel at short notice they only get a refund if you can replace them on the coach.

We have considered various alternatives however we have quite a few regulars where I'm not sure this is possible It's not a big problem probably highlighted by the Chester coach being under used, the Tranmere being very popular coupled to the decker being elsewhere! The longer trips are a learning curve for us as well as the team!

Booking and not turning up is just bad manners. Particularly for something run on a voluntary basis.
