Great performances from everyone last night; thought Tom Mills was superb, he and the rest of the defence look so sorted considering the short time they’ve been together.
The speed of some of the moves through midfield, out to the wings or to the front men, was very impressive; Ben, Bob, Tom, Flish, Pax, and Sweens when he came on, all have some much pace, and for me, that’s part of the difference to last season Whatever will be will be at Tranmere on Saturday; but they beat Eastleigh with an injury time winner on Saturday - Dover went to Eastleigh and thumped them 4-2 last night – and won 1-0 at Boreham Wood last night. As JS said, they will drop points at some stage
Hopefully the highlights will show how BJT wasn’t offside when he took the ball that led to his second last night; from where I sat, he looked to be well off, but the lino was up with play and there seemed to be no appeals from the defenders, so he must have been on
MOTM for me, Flish; as well as the massive work he did up front, more than once he was defending on our goal line, or tackling back on the halfway line when they were attempting to break

Back to back victorys at this level is a fantastic achievement our young players have all steped up and seem full of conference and composure full credit for this must go to our coaching staff. A special mention must go to both centre backs both appear to be quietly defenders Well done jay for finding them.

Good game last night, very difficult to pick out a man of the match, in my opinion it could be anyone from at least 4 or 5 players. That said and I do not want to be seen as Mr Misery we must keep both feet firmly on the ground it,s still going to be a long season, but maybe it wont be so hard as we first imagined.

Agreed, lets not think we're duds when we lose a couple and not think we're champion material if we win a couple! It's still going to be a long tough season, enjoy the ride!

I am very impressed with the slightly different approach to the game this season so far. I was also surprised when Parry was allowed to leave but we have 2 excellent centre backs (plus Millsy seems to put in 8/10 every week). The players deserve great credit so far as they are really upping their game. I think Jay is going to be hot property. If Eastleigh for example, don’t make the star they think they need, I would not surprised to see some interest.

Eastleigh have sacked their manager this morning!! That's very Leeds / Watford behaviour. It's unbelievable managers can lose their jobs such a small time into the campaign, and by that reasoning the players should be handed their P45's as well. Unreal. Poor guys had less than 2 weeks of the season to apply his tactics and get his team playing how he wants and he's already been shown the door. They were talking about this on the Football League show a week or so ago - making it mandatory through a football governing body that all managers can't be fired until 6 months into their contract. How that would pan out is another topic of discussion, and the length is arguable (would be more like 2 - 3 months for me, rather than 6) but I certainly think there's something in it...

Also, agree MOTM last night was Flish - he was unreal. So much effort and the guy just oozes talent.
Ben Greenhalgh went up a little in my estimation last night with his relentless pressing, and it was possibly the best i've seen him play for us - but dear God he needs to learn to pass when someone's in a better position!

Glad these pictures back that up.
