Still hard to believe Flish is operating at 100% full fitness Plenty of huffing and puffing between the runs Wearing a tighter shirt ? Yea, right ! But he's getting there Nobody doubts his quality and effort He is a special talent Fair point he makes about football being his second job Same point applies to most of the others, who look in pretty good nick Alex is a class act though, with plenty more to come Imagine if he was full time, maybe next season, just maybe

To be fair didn't a few people ask to get more appropriate sizing for the replicas? Im a pie fan so wasn't surprised to get the xl but the large was a lot smaller than expected.

amazing how people like to kid themselves about how trim they are talk about 'the emperor's clothes' eating tons of pies is probably not the best way to fit into an xl especially a Stones replica shirt which are sized for toned physiques

Every T-shirt I own is an xl, so I wouldn't normally expect to jump 2 sizes for a football shirt that actually feels tighter than most of my Ts.

Back up the thread, Nick said some very complimentary things about Flish.

amateur pundit for sure, but Jayser is right in supposing my previous post was a 'gentle' dig aimed at daveu for blaming the tailored fit of Stones replica shirts for his failure to get into an xl I'm pretty sure Flish wouldn't have the same problem

I too am having the 'tight shirt' problem at the moment.
Very relieved that this is a known condition - there was me thinking I'd put on a few pounds....

Me too! I think my wife buys them too small and sows a different label in to make me think I should drink less! Ha, no chance!

Me too! I think my wife buys them too small and sows a different label in to make me think I should drink less! Ha, no chance! They deliberately wash them too hot (this is technical term relating to washing machines) so they shrink. Then they can point at the tightness as 'proof' that we are eating/drinking too much. We need to be aware of such chicanery.
