Hi all hope you all enjoying your summer and are looking forward to Saturday. I'm sure many of you know by now that I like to raise money for the charity CLAPA and have held various event's in which to do so. A few seasons ago myself and some other Stones supporters walked from the Gallagher to Hornchurch raising £2,000 in the process. I am planning another walk this season in the hope of beating the amount raised last time, the plan is to walk to Woking FC for our game versus them on the 25th March. This walk is about 90K (55 miles) this is twice the distance we covered last time, I know it's along way off but I like to be organised, I was wondering if there is anyone else that would like to join me on the walk. I would be hoping to leave early hours of 24th March an overnight stop after about 35 mile then a stroll of about 20 miles to make the game on the 25th. (yes I know it's in the wrong section) Many thanks. Matt.

Shouldn't this be in the I'm doing a very long walk for an extremely worthwhile charity and will probably get massive blisters section?
I may also be interested in joining you as well.

How are you getting home? If we leave straight after the final whistle, we might just make kick off for our game at Gateshead.

Looking at this thread, Tim can forget about organising a coach, everyone is walking to the game.
