Not been to see a match here (well, not for nearly 50 years when I went to school up there) Parking- Danson Park? Entry- is it likely to be a sell-out? and thoughts?

Not been to see a match here (well, not for nearly 50 years when I went to school up there) Parking- Danson Park? Entry- is it likely to be a sell-out? and thoughts? I was there a few months ago and don't remember a dedicated car park. Stewards seemed to be ushering people down side streets and into public car parks at places like Sainsburys. Definitely won't sell out. I don't know why, but I have a soft spot for Welling's ground. It's really old school and I like the fact it is literally right next to a busy road - people on the second deck of buses get a good view of any games as they go by. Was a bit gutted they went down as I would have loved to have gone there as an away fan.

as I said- i used to live up that way and agree with you- Its old school- I doubt its changed in 50 years- the Main stand looks the same as when St Stephens played Westwood Lane in the Bell Trophy.

I assumed a trialist. His missed bicycle kick was the moment of an enjoyable match for me . We looked really quite decent .

Harrumph! Never mind Gravesend, Welling are really Bexley United! Welling are a totally different club to the old Bexley United who once played at Park view. Bexley United folded in 1976 Welling were formed in 1963 moving into Park View in 1977 . Gravesend will always be Gravesend to me and please dont start me on Dagenham & Redbridge

Last team was in Cypriot 3rd division till they dissolved. Actually thought he had a decent game.
