For no other reason than the simple fact that I was curious, does anybody know how many nationalities are represented in the current Maidstone squad?

Nationality is a stick used by the rich to oppress the poor

Sounds to me like a bit of Welsh baiting ahead of Thursday (how we miss Steven Watt for a sense of balance ) & yet only a month ago (to the day!) And we were singing hymns and arias Worgs and Saunders all through the night

When they put on a Maidstone shirt we should not care where they come from , even if it's from over the hill.

As I said, for no other reason apart from being curious. No hidden agenda, no intention to antagonise or upset, just curiosity. I thought it was a bit lighthearted and a change from the other posts which in the main end up in some sort of row or disagreement. Don't worry, I won't bother again, I'll use wiki as suggested.

Nationality is a stick used by the rich to oppress the poor Well I guess it's a point of view. However it ignores geographical and linguistic barriers. Not everything's about politics.

Well I guess it's a point of view. However it ignores geographical and linguistic barriers. Not everything's about politics. Geographical boundaries are divisions created by politicians to encourage divisions between communities, in the best interests of politicians. I wasn't referring to artificial boundaries. Wouldn't you say the coastline of an island is a pretty significant geographical barrier. Even a river can be a boundary with different tribes on each side, and there are many other geographical features that can divide the land. Quite apart from all of that, sociologically humans are naturally tribal. Not all divisions are political.

I have to agree with you, about the tribal thing When it applies to sport, long may it prosper But you can't blame geography for the failure of humans to get on with each other Geography doesn't prevent people on different islands accepting and sharing cultures, values and aspirations Unless you are political of course

For no other reason than the simple fact that I was curious, does anybody know how many nationalities are represented in the current Maidstone squad? Maybe I am missing something here, but this seems like a relatively straight forward question
