Seeing the football league fixtures release date is 22 June 2016, were we the same date last year? Just wondering when I can book my advanced train tickets to some of our earlier away games!!!!!

Train tickets unlike plane tickets only go up in price.
You can save a lot of money if you buy a long distance train ticket 3-6 months in advance.
Sometimes for almost half the price.
I work at Trainline so I know all about that kind of stuff

The way football fixtures get chopped and changed, you could end up with a lot of 'bargain' tickets for places and dates where we're not playing!

The way football fixtures get chopped and changed, you could end up with a lot of 'bargain' tickets for places and dates where we're not playing! To be fair, if a ticket is (for example) £90 to York, and you can get it in advance for £35 it makes sense, because I think it's only 5/10 pounds to cancel. I'd rather run the risk of saving a massive chunk of my travel and then pay a nominal fee if the games cancelled. I may be wrong but I'll definitely try to buy a chunk of my away travel in advance if I can...

Really looking forward to our trip to the Crabble a decent ground with friendly but rowdy supports who love a bit of witty banter . And a few decent pubs and a local rail station its allways a brilliant away day what ever the result.
