Is it still optional or do we need to assign numbers to players for the season in the National Premier? Would be nice to see the players names on their shirts.

An idea would be once we know the numbers to offer printing of the names or custom printing as an extra, would bring in a bit more money for the club. I know for one instance it is about £2 from the sponsor and this would be buying in bulk...

Having squad numbers will be great because the players will get to have their names on the back but it's a shame we'll no longer start with 1-11 (well, maybe by fluke we might but it's unlikely). I'm guessing Worgan - 1, Flisher - 11 and Mills - 3 are pretty much guaranteed.

Next seasons squad will be very interesting. It's clear that JS has no problem with moving players on if he believes they aren't good enough for the next level. You only have to look at this seasons casualties.
It'll depend alot on what players can commit to travel schedule next season. Players like Joe Healy, came to us because of that very reason.
It'll be a very interesting summer!

Healy didn't mind the travel, he didn't want to train three mornings a week. Next season will definitely be very transitional and I assume we'll probably stay evenings for next season at least otherwise we might end up having to get an entirely new squad.
All depends what sort of quality we can bring in I suppose, there are a number of players who could probably do a job in the Conference but if get top players in then they'll probably get moved on.

I've heard Healy has a very good job in London. So I think the issue will be if we have a few Tuesday's evening games far away and/or if the team has to travel up on Friday for a long distance. I really hope he stays, his partnership with Rogers has been key this season. I would suggest players like Worgs/Coyle/BIlly Joe and other coaches will be slightly easier to retain considering they work for the club

I was more thinking along the lines of, the club would be sympathetic about their working hours. I would imagine alot of the squad have jobs outside of football, and being able to leave midday on a Tuesday to travel to an an away game or having to travel up to Gateshead on a friday. Also if we start to train 3 times a week, then only players with flexible jobs would be able to commit to that. I was merely suggesting it would be easier for Maidstone coaches/players.
