Fleet had two players on loan at Whitehawk Alex Osborne plus another that are not allowed to play in these games so Whitehawk well short of team that has been flying recently. Lets hope they upset fleet on Sunday!

Looking like fleet away in the final, will be interesting ticket sales. Although Whitehawk could suprise everyone and turn it around in the 2nd leg. Fleets home form isnt great Shitehawk are very much still in the game & could easily get a result ? £bbsfleet (last 6 Home Games) - Won 4 - Draw 2 - Lost 0 Goals For 18 - Goals Against 6 Wish ours was as good!

My bad, i didnt check the exact stats. Last few times i checked the Fleet forum they been moaning how poor/inconsistent they're at home compared to away....so i just went on that.

That was a bloody long way for 90 minutes. Good game, excellent goal from Healey and a cock up that Flish punished them for. Now tucked up in my king size bed.

Just got back. A great win with an excellent performance, Noisy crowd, particularly first half. I hope there are not too many sore heeds later today because there seemed to be a full swing celebration ongoing as I left at 10ish.

Superb effort by the team and fans! Well done to all that went down there, hope everyone gets back safely. There aren't too many non-league teams who take the numbers away that we do, or travel as far for a game. There's a delightful touch of madness about Stones supporters :-)

The Cornish Guardian has put up a gallery of pics to go with their report. Unfortunately there is a grand total of two rather uninteresting photos! Apparently, there was a "healthy crowd of 1,011." Does this mean everybody refused the burgers and beers, and ate salads instead? www.cornishguardian.co.uk/Truro-City-face-uphill-task-2-0-home-defeat/story-29228817-detail/story.htmlAlso interesting to read this pre-match interview by the Plymouth Herald with their gaffer. He is quoted as saying: "Maidstone have beaten us twice this season, so we know what to expect from them. They are a big, physical side, they are like an old-school Wimbledon, really, and they have come out and said that this is the draw they wanted, so they have got what they wanted. We will go into the game as underdogs and we're really looking forward to it." No doubt he formed this opinion after the tactics and personnel Jay played in the league game a few weeks ago (I thought they were a far bigger side than us when we played them at home). Last night he went a different way, leaving out Sweeney and Mr Maker - I am sure Truro will have been caught off guard by that. Very shrewd of Jay to stick with a formation that worked, but to mix up the starting eleven to nobble any tactics they made based on the game a few weeks ago.

If we're old school Wimbledon, who's our Vinnie Jones? Maybe we could be the Lazy gang...?
