seems nobody has started a thread for this match so i thought i'd get one going. ribbons ready for the wifes car, flag's folded in the lidls bag for transportation to the wilds of cornwall, and the kids have already started with how long till we leave dad. proper stop of at stonehenge this time for a stones at the stones photo, and a second attempt at buying a pasty. round one should be a great match, seems they're up to full strength again, as are we. can't wait. Look at you with your Lidls bag. All the Aldi shoppers are going to be right jealous. Enjoy the trip, whatever the result.

Sadly, my boss thinks that football should come second to the job that pays my bills (just). That's what you get with a Sheffield United fan I guess. I will be listening in, watching twitter and everything else I can reach to keep me updated. Good luck to those travelling down, good on ya, make some noise for me. See you on Sunday, a day which the bitter Sheffield United fan tells me is my own. COYS!!!

Hats off to everyone making the pretty eye watering mid-week trip down that-there-way. To think - at the beginning of the season, Truro away was the one everyone was eyeing up and now some people have done it twice. HURRAH!
Assuming Stones Live is there, i'll be listening to that and watching the Real Madrid game at the same time. Failing that, i'll be on twitter, moaning.

Love it about the pasty ... So nothing new there then ... 43 years ago when I first came to England , my first holiday was in Cornwall , being French I thought that it would be a no brainer to ask in a restaurant to have a Cornish pasty , being the local dish ... The look of horror from the waiter ... You'd have thought that I had put a curse on him !! ... Like you JTE ... I shall attempt once more to get a pasty tomorrow and see if things have changed in between. I am sure that there will be a few Stones' fans and that we will return tired but happy home !. COYS. Ah! Cornish Pasties ... originated from dinosaur eggs lol .... c'est-magnifique!

Well done starting this jte. I can't get the time off work so will be listening to Stones Live with the others tonight. The pasties at the ground were not bad. The problem with pasties is that they are down there, but you have to look around a bit. Most of the towns bakeries will sell them. If you are going to Tragos on the A38, then theirs are great. Despite having a holiday home near Bodmin, mid week is a no no for me- so enjoy the match you lot and enjoy the weather.

Just spoke to the bbc Cornwall guy, and he says they're putting a feed through to radio kent, so if there's any problems with stoneslive, you may be able to listen in there. Still haven't managed to get a pasty, but the kids got some cornish guitar strings, so that eases the disappointment somewhat.
