That means he won't be back. He has struggled this year after a good first season with us. He has not created or scored goals for us this year. It's a shame but I think he needs a fresh start. Think tonbridge would of been the better option for him though.

Started the season well (veryt good at Maidenhead away especially) but we've signed wingers who've gone ahead of him in the pecking order and I doubt we'd sign anyone over the summer in his position who isn't better than him. I think he'll be back for the run-in as cover if nothing else but I wouldn't probably expect Bodders to be with us next season. Which is a shame because he has a good song.

Well apart from the cup game which I'd forgotten, I was merely pointing out that it would be difficult for him to have scored a hat trick when even the whole team has only managed 3 goals on 3 occasions.

Got you. So firstly you are wrong. Secondly confusing two issues. Apology please....

Shame, but he's just not had a great season. When he's in form he's a nightmare for defenders - direct, fast and an absolute handful but he just hasn't been able to do it consistently enough like in the Ryman Prem days.
I'm in agreement that this looks the end for Bodders at Maidstone - the Leatherhead black hole claims another victim!

He is a very good player but I do think his end product lets him down a bit too often. That's where Vas is definitely better for me. I am slightly surprised he didn't go to Tonbridge, which is closer for him as regards training and home games, they have a bigger support and they might get promoted but I guess in the end he wanted to play with his old buddies. I hope he does well for them.

I am afraid I only recall his glaring miss late on against Gosport, which would have won the match without Flisher's intervention. Definitely good on the wing, not so good at crossing, hopeless in the box!

This (Bodders) is a guy who has a full time job, gets paid a pittance to play on a Saturday not to mention the training commitment, etc.
He has been pivotal in our promotion and has also impacted games this year, both as starting 11 and impact form the bench.
Yes still, people are negative and slate the likes of Bodders.
Personally, I hope we see him back in a moths time, and believe he can still add value to our promotion push

Not sure anyone's really slating him. Measured criticism maybe, some of which is justified. It would be difficult to argue that Vas's delivery into the box isn't generally better. Like a few players from last year Bodders has been a bit unfortunate that the new signings have come in and done well and kept him out of the side. I think both him and Alex Brown could still do a job at this level, but you can't blame players for wanting to go and get regular starts when they drop down the pecking order, and I suspect Bodders will eventually follow the others and sign a deal with Leatherhead.
