So no MUFC game next Saturday - what about the alternatives ?
A full fixture list in the Invicta & SCEFL ( weather allowing ) so maybe a chance to pick up a local game @ Hollands & Blair ( vs AFC Croydon ), Rochester ( vs Crowborough ) & Bearsted ( vs Sutton Ath - cup ). Higher up the pyramid, VCD entertain our friends from DHFC, + games at Chatham, Hastings & Sittingbourne. Lots to choose from ( or maybe the magnetic pull of Sky Sports / the pub ............. ).

Or you could come along and see the Maidstone Utd u15s on Sunday at the Gallagher at 10.30 vs local rivals Tonbridge Angels to see if they can maintain their current unbeaten league record. The bar is normally open as well !

As well as a few more Stones matches this season (obviously OCFC away; probably Hemel home; one or more of Havant / Wealdstone / St Albans away) I'm off to Wycombe - Exeter in 10 days and will probably glory-hunt and go to the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final... none of which will be as cold as Basingstoke, surely?

I shall be working, when I say working I mean going into my work as it is my turn due to my shift pattern.

Holland and Blair was on my list this weekend. Its got a pub one side of it and a social club the other so will have sky sports if the match is dire. Living 5 minutes up the road helps too.

Hollands absolutely deserve support given their rise through the pyramid, otherwise where's the sense of adventure. Go and tick off a new ground, enjoy the feel of real grass roots football, support Kent teams lower down the pyramid - they'll be pleased to see you !

Hythe v Worthing for me, though their burgers aren't nearly as good as when we were in the Ryman South!
