Damn! .... The curse of the 'Manager of the Month' award strikes again. Hope it don't stay with us all Month!

Can't really argue with that. Yeovil defended well and their number 3 was superb. We might have done better against 10, but the second red really defined their game from then on and the didn't really have anything to think about except keeping us out.

We played really well, they defended really well. I don't think they looked any better than the Oxford or bath side we lost to earlier in the season to be honest.
Akrofi was offside and Osborne was outside the box. The ref got every single decision right today in my eyes.
I think if we were to win that game we needed to take a chance early on, come out the blocks quickly. But we gave a good account of ourselves. We will have to see who we would have got tomorrow night.
We need to push on in the league now, that's our bread and butter, plus with ebbsfleet dropping more points we are now really close on their tail. I genuinely think we can go on and put in a great bid to win this league.

I think the only decision the ref got wrong was only giving our captain Ryan Dickson a yellow for the way he bludgeoned your guy in the first half.

The key difference today for me was not ability, or tactics, but the extra burden a part time squad faces over fully paid professionals which I believe all of their squad are.
Thought the fact we played the system we did in the first half was a positive and brave move by JS, so we clearly went for it.
The league looks like a real opportunity, just wondering how we help the club raise £1million!

I know a lot of us in the main stand were shouting "off off off" but no one really expected more than a yellow.

We are a much side when a side is coming at us so the sending off could have worked against us. Yeovil tactics were spot on by saying come and break us down not our strong point and we couldn't. There number three was quality but so was Driver my motm.

But then they would have ended up with only 8 men! (Has that ever happened in a MUFC game?)

There number three was quality but so was Driver my motm. No doubt they'd had us watched and had sussed us out very well - very hard to score against, but unlikely to score against a packed defence. They got their tactics exactly right. Rather ironic really, as that's exactly the tactics most non-league sides use when playing better opposition away. So a sort of backhanded compliment - they were coming to us as the underdogs, needing a tactical approach to hold a better side to a draw.

"We played really well"....
What a load of bollocks. How many times did we challenge a substitute goalkeeper when they were reduced to 9 men? f**k all.
We deserved to lose today, end off.

All I can say is I'm disappointed with the result and the game, going down to 10 and then 9 men played into their hands somewhat and we were severely lacking in the final third, my only question would be why we didn't just go for it when we they had 9 men, we could have taken a defender off and pushed another forward or attacking player on, in my humble opinion it would have been better to lose by 2 or 3 than limp to a 1-0 loss

I looked at a different angle of the 'goal' and it would actually appear that frannie did not touch the ball and akrofi was onside when mills played the ball... Nevermind anyway.

Gutted couldn't win against 9 men though, this we will look back on thinking what if..because we easily could have taken them down given their problems, we go again next week at darts!

as long as the 1 is for us I don't care how many we score. This rather suggests you do care how many we score.
