I'll be the first to post about the whitehawk game.
Just to say it's a shame this fixture landed on an FA cup date. Because I quite fancy us to beat them on our current form.
Anyone else feel the same?

It's a huge game if we really fancy ourselves as playoff contenders. We might be top of the form guide at the moment, but Whitehawk are 2nd and they absolutely destroyed St Albans recently whereas we secured a 1 - 0 win. Would still prefer a cup run though ................

That last line is a conversation we've had quite a few times this season. 3rd round of the FA Cup or promotion? No brainer for me, cup every time.

Well I agree. I don't think we could sustain a promotion to the National League just yet. ££££££

Nothing to do with money for me, am happy to be in this division, promotion can wait and is realistic next season, season after....in fact every season. 3rd round of the FA Cup? Not so realistic.

Third round of the FA Cup against a top team is maybe once in a lifetime for most non league fans, if they are very lucky. The owners, this manager and players are achieving historically amazing things with promotions and cup runs. Kids watching today really will look back on these as the glory years.

Glory years might only just be starting. Us oldies thought the glory years were successive promotions from the Kent League to Ryman Premier in 7-5BG...
