Gutted couldn't make the game today as on holiday, but followed the 3-1 result, first home win of the season, and a really bright start to the game.
Real shame Jay Saunders has advised the players not to read the fans forum due to comments made and impact on the players;

The Managers strategy clearly seems to be clicking into place and fifth place in the league is the reward. Margate in 17th!
Considering the above link, let's now get some real positivity on this forum, all get behind this team which has huge potential and become the 12 man every other Saturday!!

Superb today especially first half. But then I always said last week was just a bad day at the office. In my opinion, today's MOTM was Alex Akrofi. He ran their defence ragged all afternoon, won and converted the penalty, and nicked a goal off of BJT. Jay May also played a big part today and deserved his goal. Second half was a bit flat by comparison, probably because of the heat. Once again the ref was dreadful. Couldn't see why he gave them a penalty, but if it was, how did Worgs not get at least a yellow. Akrofi was wrestled and battered all over the place and apart from the penalty got absolutely nothing, and to add insult to injury, the free kick against him that lead to their goal should clearly have gone the other way. Still, at the end of the day, a decent performance that should silence some of the critics.

All this talk about only wanting positive comments in this forum is a bit grim. Honest, heart felt criticism and views however much you may disagree should be acceptable. Not aware that I have made a single negative comment about a player, but this forum should be receptive to all viewpoints. If a supporter wants to criticise a player or advocate something different, that should be fine. It would be pretty boring if all the time we were agreeing with other and declaring that everything was wonderful.

A great win today, I thought worgs was mom today for 3 outstanding saves in the first half. Second half was a bit flat but that may be because of the heat, I thought bodders injected some pace when he came on. 9 pints after 5 games, I would of taken that at the start of the season.

Well played today. That was much better. Maybe it was my posts last week that kicked the players up the backside. It seemed like the players had passion today and wanted to play for the team.
Akrofi was excellent. He stretches the game with his pace. He might not have great control with the ball at his feet but he doesn't stop running and defences do not like that.
Passing as a team was a lot better today. We passed with a purpose.
The referee was shocking again. Not sure how that was a penalty but well done worgan.
Not sure what is up with Frannie. He doesn't seem up for it this year. Think he will struggle to get back in the side now. Think we still need a striker as can't rely on three strikers all season.
Poor goal to concede. Would of been nice for a clean sheet. But I would of taken 3-1 at the start of the game.
Bring on Eastbourne next. Let's get another three points and put a marker down on this league and get teams worried about playing us.

You would have been on fire Chris! There were a lot missing of the usual faces plus a few I didn't expect to see there. It was enjoyable and a bit noisy from our end of the row from time to time...

Excellent performance today in very hot conditions. Bit of a mad first half, but we deserved to be well ahead having started the game so well. Thought H&Y were very negative from the off and as soon as we got the first it was always going to be difficult for them.
Alex Akrofi was great today and worked his socks off. His effort is infectious and he gave their defence no peace. Alex Brown was also brilliant(!) today and was really efficient with his use of the ball, knowing when to keep it and when to move it. Delighted that both the Alex's are getting a good run in the team.
Bobby Joe Taylor also looked good when he came on and I'm sure there's much more to come from him.
9 points from 5 is a good return and full credit to the team for bouncing back from the initial home games.

Enjoyable game today and well deserved win, think the extreme heat lead to a quieter second half. Alex Akrofi was full of running and Worgs was superb. The ref gave some strange decisions at time although the red was clear cut. I remember the Sutton fans almost having apoplexy on the forums that some of our fans were in 'their end', did we mind the H&Y fans in 'our end' first half? Not that I could see, grow up Sutton fans.

Bloody great result. We really deserved the win and that 60 seconds where we conceded a penalty, saved it then got our own and converted it was superb. Joe Healy has a booming right foot and he nearly broke the bar with that effort. Here is Alex's penalty.

Alex motm for me as well. He just would not quit all game. We looked good going forward and really controlled it from the off. The crowd got into it as well today which I thought was great for the lads.
