That's if the game goes ahead, weather looking dodgy!

I think we need to win the next two because we then enter a phase where we have some very tough games indeed with Margate at Home, Dulwich away and Hendon away. If we could manage to build a six point gap (after games are equalised) then things would be looking very rosy. However, this is Maidstone United so we will lose at Billericay and Leatherhead and get to the last day needing to win at home to East Thurrock to make sure.

More importantly I believe that if we win our next two games, we gaurantee ourselves a playoff place. Not to sound too pessimistic

It's not pessimistic. Don't forget that at Wingate the other week we were singing about staying up

stick with the 4-3-3... Give JP a rest and put in Browney, not because JP is playing badly but because we need him fresh. Keep mostly the same side that played yesterday, Bodders in for George. Keep Frannie wide right, Jay May down the middle... Bricknell in the middle three with James Rogers.
But i'm unfortunately not the manager...

I echo the point made by nws,It would be great to know our destiny before the last game of the season for once. We never seem to enjoy the last game of the season, wondering how the other sides around you are doing, at least we have the technology today to keep us updated. It must have been nail biting years ago, not knowing possibly until the Sunday papers or the local rag was published. At the end of the day it's in our hands not to let this happen again. COYS

Crucial game, Monday. Not so much for the points, but to prove/demonstrate our 'mettle'.
Away at Billericay is never easy, but they've improved their side since we last played them and are one of the form sides at the moment (they've won their last three, including an away win at Wingate (7th) on Saturday). They also have an outside chance of getting into the play-offs (FWP actually have them as 5th in their final table!) - and to do that they need to beat us. They are going to be really up for this.
People are naturally thinking of the Margate, Dulwich and Hendon games as the critical games, but I think this one is just as crucial in its own way. Win this and I think the championship is ours to lose. Lose it and it's probably going to go right to the wire.

If we lose a game and if (by miracle) Margate manage to not cock up in the same week, there will only be 1 point in it (as far as i'm concerned at this moment in time), that makes for a less than comfortable finish...

If we lose tomorrow it won't be the end of the world but if we win, I think it becomes a very big ask for Margate to catch us. Three points tomorrow and I believe we will start to smell the sweet waft of Conference football...

Please explain how a game against Billericay is more crucial than playing Margate when losing hands three precious points to the team most likely to stop us?

To an extent, all games prior to the 28th are crucial, because maximum points from them would mean that even a defeat against Margate would leave us clear. At the moment it's in our hands, and if we keep winning it stays that way. Actually both us and Margate should keep an eye on Hendon, who are putting a decent run together at the right time. Dulwich look to have blown it big time and if they don't turn it around pretty quickly could even miss out on the playoffs.

Billericay have won 6 league games in a row at home and scored 20 goals in the process, conceding only 2 . Think this will be a very tough game, I'd take a point :-)

Yes, this is an important match. A win will give the team (and fans) a great deal of belief for the 'run-in'. But a draw would still be a very decent result. Working too late to get to the match but my thoughts will be at Billericay. Good luck to the team and hope Stones supporters who get there, enjoy the journey back home.
