Why would season ticket holders need a ticket? To get their hat and coat back at the end!

Why would season ticket holders need a ticket? We don't, but the management have to take those out of the equation. Can't have them being sold on the chance that season ticket holders won't be turning up.

Still 300 tickets unsold then, which surprises me a bit, given the gate of over 2k at Saturday's game, and the interest in the fixture I imagine the numbers involved are something like 2226, less 500 for Margate = 1726, less approx 700 season ticket/ VPs leaving approx 1000 for general sale, meaning 700 went to fan club members and general sale on Friday and Saturday Cant imagine there will be any left come the big day Great to get back to winning ways against Ricay, for me James Rogers was very strong and my MOTM, I hope he's able to recover from the knock he got in time for Harrow No rain forecast before Saturday, though Hendon played on that heavy pitch on Saturday and Harrow are due to play on it tomorrow night, which I dont imagine will do it any favours in terms of improving the way it plays Seem to recall it was a lumpy old surface when they slapped us 4-1 up there last season COYS When I picked up mine they said 400 had gone to ST holders (don't know if this includes VPs). I'm puzzled that there are still some left - it's not like it's not an important game... Just wonder why JDL alluded to the fact that 400 had gone to Season Ticket Holders? Would have though it was obvious that those of us with season tickets don't need a ticket.

Why would season ticket holders need a ticket? infact they dont need a ticket for the Margate game, they will simply show their ST on the gate as normal, I guess what I'd meant was that that number of season ticket holders and VPs would be deducted from the overall allocation

Why would season ticket holders need a ticket? Good question! I'm so used to buying tickets for cup games that I never questioned what the ticket office guy told me. I suppose the ST holders just got first go at buying additional tickets? That would account for the difference in figures of ST holders and those actually buying tickets.

My first wife was an East Ender and their family treat WAS a day-trip to Margit. Her main memories of those days was being stuck for hours in traffic jams in Rochester and Chatham (pre-M2). Some days they used to get to the coast just in time to start back again. Must have been fun...

Will your team, you fans AND a physio fit on one coach? Oh yeah, with seats to spare, we only usually take a car load away, I hate coaches and minibuses, me and the boy will be on the train, I'll be surprised if we bring 40

40 is pretty good, plenty of our visitors bring less than that.
In the old days I went to a few aways where there were spare seats on the minibus - and many more where we numbered less than a dozen on the terraces! In those days, we didn't take many, even to places as close as Dartford, Gravesend or Welling. Our away support seems much better these days - possibly because of the hard core of fans from the wilderness years, who were used to traveling, even to 'home' games.
Anyway, good luck with the money raising/stand building, it seems daft of the league not to give you until the end of the season at least to get the work done. And good luck also with the rest of the season (excepting one particular game!) - you could do us a big favour when Margate come to visit.
