I will be. Hopefully we get a good result. Does anyone know anything about the ground one of the only ones I haven't been to?

As I recall it is one of the better pitches in the League, which might be important given the weather at the moment. For various personal reasons, I hope it goes ahead on Saturday...

I like it, but it's a H&S nightmare on different levels with drainage channels everywhere Very tight behind one of the goals with a low wall that we all stood on The bar was like an old working mans club, but had a good selection of bottled beers and obviously draft lager for those whose taste buds haven't developed properly! The pitch was one of the best I've seen in this league, and that was in Feb last year I think!

I am now picturing you with a beer belly and a beard - and your own pewter tankard that's kept behind the bar in the Pilot.

Ha ha, Heathside how to attract my attention.
Maggie Thatcher divided society and started some of the things that left us with some horrendous problems that now need a seismic shift in policy (as in a different system) to get rid of them.

I met Maggie and Denis a few times, friends of the grandparents in law. What a lovely, lovely lady. Very bizarre seeing her wearing an apron cooking in the kitchen. Never saw Denis without a drink or fag in his hand as well

It will be a tricky away game as Wingate & Finchley have had a very good run of matches lately and according to the form table, it will be first vs second. Would be nice to see George Porter involved as I thought that he did quite well on a miserable night for us against a strong and experienced Charlton U-21. I won't be going due to work commitment, but wish the lads good luck and hope that we get a favourable result to keep us going towards our aim to win this League. COYS
