Not old enough to remember that historic day that maidstone beat charlton, 2-1 was it?mhowever I will be going to this one, will it be all ticket you reckon? Or is it not that big? I was an 11 year old when we lost 2-1 to them in front of 10,700. The floodlight failure and the last rally to try for the equaliser. Great memories. Can't remember who scored that night. Flanagan and Hales getting sent off for fighting each other in the draw at The Valley. I listened to that one on the radio at my aunty's. Sorry, that was meant to say 'got beat'... I was tired

Brilliant link! Many thanks. I had no idea al that was online. Just looked at central Maidstone, and, although my house was built 120 years ago, even the road we live on isn't on the map! The Medway Valley railway line's there, but the Maidstone East line hasn't been built yet (although the map shows the cutting for it). Fascinating stuff.

JDL are you the strange bloke I see wandering around the car park when I drop my kids off at Brunswick House school? Ah, the old chestnut about whether Charlton is in Kent. I do sometimes wish we could prove it isn't, so that we could lobby Radio C*** to stop going on about them on a Saturday afternoon when we're waiting for Stones news. Mind you, they'd probably just use it as an excuse to spend even more time blabbing on about Dartford, Dover and Ebbsfleet, no doubt due to their massive support. It won't be all ticket - not a chance. Regular supporters know it's a reserve fixture, and potentially curious footy fans across the rest of the town won't know about it because it isn't going to be well publicised. 600 - 800 if we're lucky I reckon. Could be. How strange and how old? What years are your kids in? Mine are 5 and 1 (years, not ages!).

Charlton wont have many ,its an academy match.
Yes im going ,That's if i am free after all the professional help,Do you think that you will be free to attend or will you be going with your professional helpers,im going to attend with mine his name is Mr Oranjeboom.
Not sure how its going to work compared to our other all ticket games , as i have a ground Season ticket. So ive already payed ,do i need to get a ticket???,Or just show my ST through the ST turnstile as normal ?
This season with the cup games its all pay so i have had to pay for a ticket.
This will be the first ever all ticket match that ST holders wont have to pay .
