If you had to choose between crumpets or croissants? It was close for me but I went for crumpets.....with marmite.

Not sure about the cheese but Marmite on crumpets - yes. Spread very thinly - if you put too much on it fucks the whole thing up.

Peanut butter and marmite is a fine combination. Gives the peanut butter a real dry roasted taste.
