In the cold light of day... Anger has reduced somewhat. Nobody likes losing a local derby and I am no different. I doubt any of the players are either and I don't doubt their commitment at all. I think a few let Jay down yesterday but there's certainly no crisis despite my reaction yesterday. Onwards to Canvey on Saturday...assuming I can still stand up after the supporters game in the morning! COYS You said it very diplomatically mate ... but one thing for sure, you will be able to still stand up after the morning game, for which I wish you good luck, moving on to what I was about to clarify with you ... I saw you play in the last encounter ... and running, kicking, heading or passing a ball wasn't your forte !!!! ... Oh well a certain Pierre de Coubertin once said " It's not the winning, but the taking part that is important " ... One thing for sure ... as you will have been up early, you won't need any excuses not to attend the afternoon mighty clash between our beloved club and some team from Essex at the G.S and voice your support !!

Running, kicking, passing, and heading are not what my game is about, it's the other (far more important) aspects of the game.

Maybe it just brought back a few bad memories for him ? Not a lot in it but the team who wanted it just that little bit more got the 3 points, and the bragging rites! Personally I'm not quite ready to turn to razor blades and pills,as I've seen enough this season to know we are much better than yesterday. Good crowd, good atmosphere, bad result....simples

No one seem to know what's wrong with the "little fellow" apart that he is not firing on all cylinders ... After a couple of goals so far this season, he looks out of sorts like he was at the turn of the year ... We have a stronger squad physically this year, but do we have the right talents ... Our objective with the backing and enthusiasm of the people running this club ... is to gain promotion this year ... everybody has this club from the North Kent Coast as runaway certs to win the League, so the way I see it , we will be relying on a play-off win to get us there ... yesterday had a goaless draw written all over it and a bit of luck on your part gave you the win ... excuses , excuses , there shouldn't be any, we lost in the end and we need to put things right straightaway by winning well and giving the other teams so food for thought.
