Certain bookies think we got relegated last season & Maidenhead now play in the Ryman Premier League!

A taxi driver who posts on here...let's call him *b1...wait, that's too obvious, let's call him ob*...
He had a fare from Maidstone East station, and - having not heard of the road that the customer wanted to go to - takes the postcode.
Tapping MA14 in to his SatNav, off he goes.
It's not until he gets to Godstone that he gets a call asking why it's taking him so long to get to Vinters Park...

Wasn't there an instance last year where a club announced that one of their players had signed for us, or vice versa...when in fact it was Maidenhead?
Edit: Ah yes, Dave Tarpey according to the NLP in May

British rail made a severe mistake once, there was an advert for a shop in Ashford high street, that was put up on Ashford railway station, in kent. Only problem was, the shop it was advertisng was in Ashford in Middlesex!

One time I thought I had a game at Parkwood, wasn't until I got a phone call 5 minutes before kick off, that I found out I was supposed to be in Rainham.

best one i ever saw was a guide book to doctor who locations in the uk, written by 2 American women, who advised people visiting leeds castle (where a tom baker story was filmed) to "get a train to LEEDS station and take a taxi from there"! LEEDS Yorkshire to LEEDS kent! i wonder what the taxi fare would cost? ?!!!!!!!

Best one ever was when my friend gave me directions somewhere. I ended up in the wrong place because at some point he'd got his lefts and rights mixed up. It was hilarious

It was hilarious My step brother was a bit like that, as when he explained things, he would alwys say "right?" instead of "okay?" at the end of the sentence, so he would give directions and say somthing like "you take a left, right? then go straight on, right? then you go left right? then right, right!" Another funny story i heard was a bloke who was going to some party near port lymphe, so got a taxi to howletts! He also turned up at luton airport to catch an easyjet flight to sweden, but he was actually flying on ryanair from stansted airport!
