After stumbling across a thread on Margate's forum, we are apparently worried about next season.
Thoughts?

Not at all concerned personally, but there are one or two people posting on here who give that impression.

Judgeing by the players that moved on and the players that joined we are very slightly stronger. Of course it would be amazing to be assembling a squad like Margates but with the new stand starting in may most understand why. Unless a top central midfielder comes available within our budget third of forth will be about par and then the lottery of the playoffs. That not being worried just being realistic of course Margate will win the league unless there cash bubble bursts.

What's to worry about? Grow a pair. Deal with it.

I assumed any Margate talk was psychological.
Take the expectation and pressure off us by focusing on their budget and players.
An old tactic, but works every time as they proved by falling for it.

Margate took out AFC Wimbledon 3 - 0 yesterday, so some reason to be worried about that.

Am I worried?.....not all.....
As long as we improve on last year and at least reach the play offs then that's progress in my book, and if we don't and with an increased budget as it is then Jay will be out of a job.......simple as that.
We weren't that far off last year and if we can turn half of those draws into wins and avoid those sloppy defeats against "lesser" teams then we will be just fine.....
Wealdstone were the best team in the league last year and won it at a canter in the end........the race for the title will be much tighter ths season

Not margate but I do worry about global warming and the current crisis in the middle east.

Trying to get "Dreamland" back open again I think. Actualloy I would be very worried about the state of Margate town centre and the lack of regeneration. They say there is a lot going on but you only have to take a walk along the sea front to see it isn't happening

Margate took out AFC Wimbledon 3 - 0 yesterday, so some reason to be worried about that. Nothing out of the ordinary. Margate's first came from a mishit cross much like Tom Pett's goal against us last season. Their second goal was an absolute gift after the Wimbledon decided to turn the Margate player in his own 6 yard box. Their third goal, was a good build up play I have to admit. Wouldn't say Margate dominated, just took their chances. Matt Tubbs of Wimbledon should have bagged himself a hattrick but couldn't hit the target once. It seems margate are very weak when it comes to set pieces when it doesn't fall to their tall fella at the back (Wassamer is it)?
