Strange that Bodkin found it intimidating as his side got thrashed here. Shame the 10 teams that drew didn't feel the same even more intimidating now eh Ant?

A bit off the original thread, but I may as well continue the theme. I don't know much about the present Margate Manager to comment on whether his previous success was bought or not, but that type of success, if the cash does not continue to flow continually, inevitably ends up in tears. I am sure that they will receive the appropriate 'welcome' at the Gallagher next season. MUFC home and away wins against them would be brilliant!!!!

I don't think he would have had many budgetary problems at AFC Wimbledon as they probably had bigger crowds than us in the Ryman, and before that I think he was at Aldershot, another club with a decent support base. Different situation at Margate I guess so we'll have to wait and see, but he seems to always have had a decent budget to play with.

It will be interesting to see what he achieves with the 'budget' this time around then. Looking at the Margate results post-appointment, they don't appear to have been any better than before his arrival (actually worse I think!), so maybe he has good management skills which will come in useful in handling all those highly paid recruits. Time will tell

Bradbrook re-signs for Dartford shame we didnt get him. I wonder if he only resigned for Darts as they have just signed his brother Tom,who i never thought was conference standard in his ability, clever stunt from Burman.

Dartford is their home town so its likely to only be a special offer that lures Harry away from there.
