Not the prettiest of matches, but sheer grit and determination got us the result, which was well deserved. Not sure of the reason for Watty's unavailability, but the back 4 put in a good day's work. JP was immense and put in a commanding performance ably assisted by his defensive colleagues. Midfield much better today and the front men were a constant threat, although it did look like the failed conversion of chances might come back to haunt us early in the game. Mathematically, albeit unlikely, still in with a chance of the playoffs, but big favours now required from all of Harrow Borough, Met Police and Kingstonian!

Surely the right favours from 2 out of those three would do it?

Spot on assessment lucky, great desire to win today and we really defended well as a unit after we'd gone ahead. A number of good performances today. Worgs was as good as ever, Browny put in a great shift playing with two younger players in midfield and JP had his best game for us in my opinion leading at the back. Butcher also looks like he could have a good future with us if he wants to stay. MOM for me though was Flish who worked his socks off, won the penalty and then got his goal. Was funny to see their Right Back given their player of the season at half time only to be given a good going over by Flish when we went to 4-4-2 in the second half!

Agreed. Flish made their player of the season look very ordinary! If today was a test of character, the team and Management passed with flying colours

Great result in the end today. Thought we played some good stuff at times. Agree with comments JP was outstanding today was a true leader when we needed it. Flisher caused there right back all sorts of problems. Also thought Buther and DP we're very good as well.
Roll on Saturday and keep fingers crossed

JP had a good game on Saturday.
I'm afraid this result will not be enough and even if we win on Saturday we will not be in the play-offs

Flish had another good game. I thought Dan Parkinson had a very good game and his work seems to go unnoticed but my MoM was Butcher thought he was a revelation at full back! Could be very useful if he stays with us next season!!

Very courageous second half performance by all. Good substitutions - JP was excellent on many levels. Liked the way he berated the referee in the first half for his inconsistent decisions. The players gave their all. Deserve the million to one chance we now have.
