as a fan , you have no choice but to accept it i had embraced the idea of relegation in about october , it is what it is , i will continue to go to games in the hope tnat we win a few , and i will hope that they idiots in the ryman can schedule our matches ( if played ) at a sensible time , not the first midweek tuesday of the season , which is bound to happen Incidentally, just seen your reply to Trigger, and the idea/fact (don't know which tbh) that a third of our gates go on players wages, it's all relative I know but I'd say a third is quite low compared to other clubs?? I appreciate you're talking about it being 7k a week and therefore a pretty big budget, but I'm pretty sure it's not the highest in the current crop of Ryman clubs which kind of backs up the argument regarding the Ryman Prem being a difficult league to get out of. If 33% of our gate goes on players wages (which is probably the highest overhead) then I'm ok with that..........I refer to the recent story coming out of Salisbury ! The world seems to be full of people who know what our wage budget is. This includes all the apparent ITKs in our own fan base, but also fans of other clubs including a Dulwich supporter I met in a pub in London last season who "knew for a fact" that our budget was more than double that of Dulwich's. Now we have a figure of one third of our gate receipts. Pardon my skepticism, but I suspect everyone is just assuming we're chucking money around. It suits many people to think that of course, whether they be opposition fans wishing to dismiss us as a cheque book club, or Stones 'supporters' who think the manager should be flogged for not getting us to the Premier League by now

Elphick would be a good addition contract out at end of season. Watty and Elphick partner ship would be good. Quality cover if needed Parkinson and Mills plus they would able to operate in preferred positions. Would keep Cox at right back Sullivan as cover. Like Butcher could be a good replacement for Brown if he moves up the ladder. Need a midfielder in the mould of Orolunda but with a bit more skill in possesion. Flish and Hill (if fit) as wide men Robertson as cover. Dan Parkinson as cover in midfield great potential done well this year but still learning. Frannie and Zak up front. Harris as cover still learning but a growing threat the more he plays.Obviously Zak has attracted interest from above so would need to be replaced possibly Stefan Payne could be an option. Your probably asking what about Phillips I would put him in any side but we would need to see how he is after ops injuries have cost us dear this year. The good news with the above is that it does not mean whole sale changes with just a two or three quality signings. With the quality we have in the acadamy they could be bloodied in games with quality experienced players where as this year they have at times been thrown in at the deep end. Just my thoughts.

I have no idea what our budget is, but as long as we're not spending more than what we've got coming in then I'm happy.

I wouldn't rule out a move for Wealdstone's Tom Pett, is a fan of 3G and already knows Jay pretty well. Depends whether he can commit to the demands of Conf South or indeed whether he moves to the US to be with his girlfriend. And we've struggled with a right sided winger for the last 2 seasons

Prior to this season I wouldn't have said I'd be pleased at the misfortunes of other Kent clubs getting relegation, however this season has been different. Aside from the lack of 3G support (not that I ever thought we'd get their support)it's been the attitude towards us and our manager/players that has shown the true colours of certain clubs. The "abuse" Frannie and Worgs got for joining "MFI" and taking voluntary relegation (Oh the irony) was something else, and likening it to Sol Campbell moving from Tottenham to Arsenal was just ridiculous. I find it interesting therefore that Tommy Warrilow has in effect highlighted the destructive nature of social media with it's "negativity". He has also highlighted the "budget" he was working to and also the fact he seems to have offered his resignation some weeks ago. Whilst I appreciate fans pay to watch their team and therefore have a right to an opinion I think it's something we can learn from. Clearly the budget couldn't accomodate Frannie and Worgs and perhaps it was their chairman who opted for voluntary relegation because they simply didn't have a sustainable business model which allowed them to continue in the Conference South. Given their complaints about the quality of football, budget, postponements, crowds etc etc their vote against something that would assist in these areas is even more puzzling, although of course Tommy Warrilow was publically in favour of 3G, which of course gave him the label of being a traitor. Arguably budget, is the main factor in determining how well a club does over a season and more often than not the teams with the highest budgets are the ones who occupy the top places come the end of the season. The measure of a good manager is how well they use the budget available to them, who's the better manager Jose or Pulis? The comment from the Bognor bench on Saturday "we need to get promoted, we have to get promoted" suggests (to me) they are desperate and have been given the budget to go up to Conf South, and it's almost as if they've only got "one shot" at it. And although the figures are not made public, Jay was given the budget whereby the co owners "expected" him to be challenging for the play offs (this was a public statement) and therefore Jay has done exactly what has been asked of him, and given the injuries (or excuses, depending on how you look at it) I'd say we are just about where we are where we need to be. One thing's for sure, our football club is heading in the right direction. I have the feeling that TW was publically in favour of the 3G pitch purely as not to burn his bridges. He knows the nature of this league, and he knows that if we don't start well next season, the writing could be on the wall, and we could be looking around for a new manager. Where else would we look but to our feeder club?

Warrilow would love to come here,we have everything he wanted from the Mangels, but was never going to get.
I don't care what league they are in,they will always be in our shadow ,my hopes for our future are that we play Boxing Day games with Gillingham not some silly little club that never bring more than 50 fans anyway.

We should deal with that lot firmly. Didnt we shut them up before by threatening to boycott a game or spending anything if you went.
They need us,1000 times more than we need them ,how much would 1000 fans add up to with spending?
a whole lot more than the 50 they would bring to us.
Watch it Mangel,Start being nice,or you might not get the biggest payday you have had in years.
