What are your thoughts on Saturday's games? Here's my predictions:
AFC Hornchurch vs Hampton & RB - Home win Dulwich Hamlet vs Leiston - Home win Lowestoft Town vs Billericay Town - Draw (3rd game in 4 days for Lowestoft) Maidstone Utd vs Bognor Regis Town - Home win 2-1 Att. 1957 Wealdstone vs Kingstonian - Home win (will want to celebrate league in style)
So 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats for our rivals.

It's only really ours and "the other Stones" results that matter to us (although I'm quite happy for Dulwich and Hornchurch to lose as well!).
Been out of touch recently, not only abroad, but rather tom (our NHS may not be perfect, but if I have to be in hospital with a seriously inflamed kidney, I'd rather it was back in Blighty and not in Eastern Europe - although, in fairness, they treated me very well) - so I've only just caught up with the last week or so.
The backlog from the floods finally did us some good, with Lowestoft running into the buffers (although I don't suppose I'd see it like that if I were one of them - but then they could have always got themselves some 3G). And, all in all, although disappointed to find us in 6th, I'm pleasantly surprised to find we are ONLY in 6th. And the play-offs not only within reach, but even a good finish possible.
After the Enfield result, I'd be mad to predict anything like this, but almost any team at home in desperate need of a win can raise their game enough to get one. Let's please just not let them score first for once! And then all we need is for Wealdstone not to mess about, and do the business at their place, and the play-offs are ours to lose.
In fact, if tomorrow's results go our way, it will all be so tight by 5pm (or, knowing us, 5:20!) that anything's possible.
But I'm not going there - it's not wise to provoke the Great God of Football this close to the end of the season. And anyway, I'm still getting over the shock of finding us still in touch after I've missed so much of the action.
Whatever happens, it's been a great season, and we've every reason to expect even better next year, wherever we end up. So a big thanks to the owners, Bill and Jay, the players, and everyone behind the scenes at the club - and even to some of the miserable sods on here for keeping the dream alive during the 'away years'!
And, from a personal perspective, having started this season on crutches and ended it seriously wondering if I'd ever see another football game, I almost (but only almost) don't care what happens tomorrow - just as long as I'm back home and well enough by then to go to the final game.

Hornchurch v Hampton - Draw Dulwich v Leiston - Home win Lowestoft v Billericay - Draw Maidstone v Bognor - away win Wealdstone 1 Kingstonian - Home win
I'm afraid we will only take 4 points out of the nine, a draw at Met Police and a win at home to Grays. We will not be in the play-offs

You have already informed us we're finishing 8th Although with these 4 points it would be worth watching Hendon in the last 3 games as they've got a goal difference of 14 to make up

I brought 1400 black and Amber balloons to the play off final last year but lets get a carnival occasion atmos from today come what may and maybe see if we can ride a wave all the way to the Connie South. So i am bringing some more balloons tomorrow. Lets enjoy a big game atmosphere! COYS

AFC Hornchurch v Hampton & Richmond - Draw Dulwich Hamlet v Leiston - Home Win Lowestoft Town v Billericay Town - Away Win Maidstone United v Bognor Regis Town - Home Win Wealdstone v Kingstonian - Draw
Attendance 2,021
Not the best results for us, but still keeping the dream alive!
Losses for AFC Hornchurch, Dulwich Hamlet, Lowestoft Town, Bognor Regis Town and Kingstonian is just too much to hope for but, if this is realised, we would be buoyed enough to put in an even bigger performance at Met. Police on Monday
Win our own game and the rest is somewhat immaterial as anything can still happen with 2 games left to play and Dulwich/Kingstonian still having to play each other on the final day

Anyway, the expert summariser has...um...made the 8th prediction so get your tickets for Hendon
