......Stones Live! is due to provide live commentary of the Robert Dyas Isthmian League Cup Final on Tuesday from 7.30pm.
The commentary will be provided by Fred Atkins at The Gallagher Stadium with me in the Stones Live "studio", from where it will be broadcast via the internet in the usual way. However, this week I will be using the mobile studio whilst on holiday, and whether we can do it will depend on whether I can find a pub in Berkshire with WiFi that is willing to have some bloke with a load of equipment in the corner blabbing on about some football teams from Kent and Suffolk! Could be an interesting evening!

OK, pub with wifi sorted. Tomorrow night we will be using the Stones Live! Hampshire "studio", live from The Jekyll & Hyde, Hartley Wespall, Hants RG27 0AX. So if any Hants exiles aren't going to the Gallagher Stadium tomorrow night, you're more than welcome to join me from about 6.30pm. We'll be on air from 7.30pm. COYS!! Tune-in at www.stoneslive.co.ukSmartphone users can download the Tunein Radio App at www.tunein.com/mobile then search for Stones Live using the app.

Island, my attendance at home games since becoming a dad in 2009 is utterly abysmal - erm, Brighton and East Thurrock! Only time I wnet to Ashford was for an away game; didn't go to Sittngbourne 2nd stay. The days of no kids, petrol @90p/l, wife working on Saturdays, 25 games a season are long gone. I contribute about as much to Maidstone United's gate receipts as nws does to intelligent debate on here. And as for midweek - I think I drove from Oxon to S'bourne for a KL clash v Ramsgate once? Fleet and Broxbourne away games... oh and Dulwich a year ago. I was there is spirit, mind. COYS.

Yes apologies for the lack of coverage last night, it was always going to be risky. To start with the wifi at the pub in Hants which was doubling as the Stones Live! studio last night had decided to pack in yesterday afternoon, so I had to make last minute adjustments to using 2 mobile dongles on 2 laptops. Then having sorted that out the wifi at the Gallagher Stadium turned out to be abysmal so Fred found it difficult to link his commentary to me.
Saturday's commentary at Enfield Town should be different because:
1) I will be using my (usually) reliable mobile broadband dongle; and 2) I will not be using the Gallagher Stadium wifi!
