Now SEVENTEEN points ahead of us, with nearly twice our GD - and still with two games in hand!!
How did they get to be so good? I don't even remember them being in contention a few months ago.

They've been there or thereabouts since we played them on the opening day...and have been favourites since the outset.
17 points is taking the piss tho

Fair play to them. They're showing the quality that deserves being in Connie south.

They are the best team in the league by a mile, simple as that

More importantly tonight, Enfield 2-1 Bognor with 89th minute winner. Let's get a play off place.

Have they done anything special, like forking out for Conf standard players, or going pro, or has it just all come together for them?
With the huge lead they're building up, it's hard to believe it's just a good team/manager on a good run.

Simple truth is we let it slip away and they did not, not long ago we had games in hand and was only a point of the top spot.. We blew it!!

They've got players in key areas who have played in the championship/premier league, and one of the top prospects in non league. Good combination

They have come so close for the last 3 years it's hard to deny them their glory, they have some cracking players and a good mix of experienced professional and young starlets.
And as I have said before (and they've done it again tonight) they soak up a load of pressure, don't concede the hit the opposition with a goal or two, which in effect ends the contest. They were doing it at the start of the season without closing out games and I have to say this is where we have failed, we haven't scored when we have been on top, been hit by a goal often against the run of play and then we're are chasing the game. And then when we've been leading we have failed to close out games.
