I'd hardly describe anywhere in Thanet, on the Thames estuary as being "riviera"

I thought it was Camber Sands? That would be Camber Sands, East Sussex?

Perhaps a million quid would be better spent on players?

They could certainly have bunged a few quid Rooney's way to get him to stay to the end of the season!

Previous experience should have deeply etched on every Stones fans mind that spunking a ton of cash you havent got on a team to chase the dream will only end in financial ruin. People can be found to invest in a stadium but not just throw money at players who are a temporary commodity. I think a stand like Brive would be fine and quite imposing with the right coloured seats and the lower rows of terracing.

Better to spend 25 years in the Kent League with our current ground, than buy a couple of years in a league whose grading rules we don't even meet anyway.
Don't want to keep thanking the current owners, but thank goodness we live within our means while carefully expanding for the future. The club feels like it is in safe hands.

Yeah spend a million quid on players to get us up into a league that the stadium wouldn't allow us to play in. Fantastic idea and bound to end in success.
Which way's Margate?

That stand has 878 seats - so its a bit bigger than what is being proposed at the GS
