Yes i mean Jays doing so badly in our first season in Ryman Prem isnt he. Shocking were not running away with the league at our first attempt isnt it?? My god id hate to think if wed had a totalky acceptable mid table finish this season ! Maybe just maybe were playing some teams who have played at this level a lot longer than we have?? As you were Jay Coys

Maybe he has been a bit too close and pally with the players, but it has got him the play-off positions of the Ryman Prem. The form over the last few months has been pretty patchy and Rooney has covered up some of the problems. So is this his Tim Sherwood moment? He must be grateful he has Oliver as chairman backing him, rather than Daniel Levy.
I was there on Tuesday and East Thurrock just had more desire and determination, we just looked mentally unprepared for the challenge. He should have enough respect in the bank from his squad of players to get a response, they should be good enough to keep a play-off spot, but they need to accept their level of performance has dropped since the first few months of the season.

We're gonna have to put up with this shit every time we don't win the league. Some of you seem to be suffering from the deluded belief we are better than we actually are. Personally, I think we overperformed earlier in the season, and favourable results made us look better than we were.

Whether you think we have had a good season or not I reckon Jay is more likely to be poached by a club higher up than sacked by us.
I for one think Jay is and has been brilliant for the football club and is a great ambassador. He clearly has many many connections within the non league game and that in itself is pretty priceless.

I think he has done a great job, he's managed to convince some quality players to don the amber & black, but he now knows he is facing his first real challenge. The bar has been set higher, and for an ambitious man, he will relish it, not make excuses that we should be grateful for where we are.
