I personally take the view that it is the absence of Phillips that has lead (led?)to a number of the losses. We wouldn't have won them all, of course, but he might have stopped those dashes through the middle that frequently wrong foot our defenders eg v Thamesmead away.

I've always said we're not the same team without him. He's the heartbeat of the team.

Hmmm, that would be the Phillips that played against Thamesmead but got subbed at half time! Silly Sod! However, I'd agree Mickey is a big miss!

The goal I was referring to was in the second half, so my point remains valid! Although his efforts in the first half weren't his finest hour (or 45 minutes).
