I had the misfortune to be standing in the town end last night, it is something I will never do again, listening to some of the comments and chants from a small minority of the 'fans' and I use the term very loosely was simply staggering and in all honesty uncalled for, Dan Parkinson scores a goal and people start shouting at the goalkeeper you must be shit if he scored, the lad is 17 how the hell is that going to build his confidence up, now onto Luke Rooney regardless of whether you like him or not, I personally think he is a quality player and should be supported like the rest of the players, there were numerous chants about him and not all good, if we want to attract and keep the quality players we have, then people have to stop this nonsense, we need to get behind the team, I will stand back and await the barrage of comments shooting me down on this post I did not want it to come to this Toon, but so be it. You seem to have a very short memory of some of things you have said at the GS. One of which I remember you saying "£400 I've paid for this shit" and "Stop backing Saunders, he is a useless waste of space". I also add these were probably drunken words, which I have also been guilty of through the season. However, the chant towards Rooney yesterday of being a 'fat bastard' is nothing different to what we have said to Flisher ALL season...so why is everyone getting all menstrual about it when we say it to Rooney? As for Parkinson, he has recieved a lot of stick from some people in the townend. Me included. However these were for the first couple of games where he wasn't very comfortable and quite clearly new to this standard. Now he has become a good little player, but the stick has stuck because it causes a few laughs in the terracing. Saying something to the away goalkeeper...how on Earth is Parkinson going to hear what is said? He hears through twitter, not on the pitch. Sorry for the rant everyone, just had to get my opinion across.

So that makes it OK then? Apparently so. I don't see ANY fans cry about comments like that to a Maidstone player, even Flisher laughs. So what is it, you can say it to Flisher but not Rooney?

Civil war! Civil war!! Civil warrr!!! X3 Haha Only trying to settle things before we set off to Lowestoft. At this rate, I don't think I can be bothered to go and sit on a coach where no-one gets on with one another. People are so quick to judge.

Sorry for the rant everyone, just had to get my opinion across. I can confirm I did say the comment about the cost of my season tickets and the poor game I was watching, I did this within the stand, just like a few other people, I didn't however start picking on the younger players and digging out one of our better players, I still struggle to comprehend what the benefit is of calling players fat bastards and shouting out to the keeper, he must be shit to have allowed him to score, I'm not going to get into a big debate about this, this is my opinion just like what you have written is your opinion, i'm not going to fall out with you or anybody else over it, finally I can see no logic to you saying you are not coming along on the coach on Saturday, I will be on it and I hope you will be as well, I will treat you to a fizzy pop beer at Lowestoft, I have a lot of time for you trigger you are a top lad

Trigger, I hate to tell you this but Dan did hear what was said on the pitch as he had a conversation with Jack, Jay and the safety officer after the game, and yes it does upset some of the players especially the younger ones. If you or anyone has a problem with a player then why not talk to them in the bar face to face after the game rather than in a crowd.

The turn around bit, or the banter with the goalkeeper?
