Doncha just luv em! Those games in hand are going to really trouble them... Spare a thought for the Wealdstone raider, he is going to be very tired after going around beating people up 3 times a week!

Games between top six sides for rest of the season
Maidstone Dulwich H Hornchurch A Bognor H Dulwich Bognor H Maidstone A Hornchurch A Wealdstone A Kingstonian H Wealdstone Dulwich H Kingstonian H Kingstonian Bognor A Wealdstone A Dulwich A Hornchurch Bognor A Maidstone H Dulwich H Bognor Hornchurch H Dulwich A Kingstonian H Maidstone A
Dulwich look to have the toughest schedule while Wealdstone have the best, would expect them to win the league but as we know, those lower teams can be tricky so you never know.

On current performances, do people prefer to be home or away in the play-offs? (Let's face it, we're going to finish somewhere between 2nd and 5th...)

Shouldn't this be in the Wealdstone section?

I think as the rules stand, if the conference decision on 3G doesn't get overturned we won't be in the playoffs anyway, but will be replaced by the team finishing 6th. In fact, if my reading of the rules is correct, if we are champions a the club finishing 21st in the conference will be reprieved and the Ryman playoffs will be as normal.

Are you sure of this (that we won't even be in the play-offs because of the 3G pitch)? I've got used to the idea of us winning promotion (either way) and not being allowed up (after all, it won't be for the first time!), but not even being allowed into the play-offs is a different matter altogether. Apart from anything else, it buggers our end of season up completely - no big games, no big pay days for the club.

were unbeaten at home so home for me Good point. All those ruddy draws at home had made me forget that we are unbeaten at home (although only just in one or two games!). That would give us a huge psychological advantage, at the very least.

If we get a playoff spot then we will play in the playoffs as we have earned the right to do so as laid down by the Ryman Prem. The RPL wont deny us our place in the playoffs,if we get that far.
its what happens after that ,if we win them.

The RPL wont deny us our place in the playoffs,if we get that far. its what happens after that ,if we win them. I suppose it's the Ryman league, therefore it's the Ryman rules, not the Conference ones? So, on that logic, we'd be in the play-offs if we've earned the right under Ryman rules, even if they knew we wouldn't go up if we won. How come no one seems to have the definitive answers on all this???

The Isthmian play off rules for step 3 do seem to imply that you must qualify for promotion to be able to enter the play offs. One assumes by "qualify" they mean meet all the rules of the next league up, which presumably includes ground grading and pitches. On the face of it, this means that we would be denied our place in the play offs. The rules state that the place moves down to the next highest team and that this process goes as far as place 7 in the table, after which byes come into effect. Contrary to what has been stated elsewhere, the Isthmian rules state that if we finish top, a Conference South club will not be reprieved, but that the second place Ryman Prem team will go up automatically if they qualify. www.isthmian.co.uk/articles.php?id=634&page=5
