We lost to a pen, given by a ref who caved in front of the home fans, and a massively over hit cross from the right wing that got held up in the wind and defied everyone
As said above, we played better in the last 2 games than we've played at home in recent weeks, and as has also been said, look at the players we've had to let go or who are out injured. New faces in the side will take time to bed in but to me Tom Parkinson and Nathan Campbell look to be quality players that will lift us after Christmas

Don't get me wrong, I know most have said hover around the playoffs (myself included) whilst the club keep harking on about expectation levels and the need to manage them - But surely when you're signing the likes of Parkinson, Frannie, Watt, Worgan and then publicising the manager is full time at the club (albeit with academy) then those expectations get thrown out of the window?

Ok we lost for the second time this week but I for one aren't going to get too downhearted about it, despite the opinion of some I feel we are pretty unlucky to have not picked up a single point from the 2 games this week.
The truth is we are one of the best teams in this league and we have played the red hot favourites to win the Ryman Prem 4 times this season and matched them all the way, having drawn two, and one win a piece for each of the Stones teams. Wealdstone shaded it today and probably deserved the 3 points but for all the possession they had we actually restricted them to very few chances and they took the points thanks to a penalty and a fluke of a goal.
The pitch held up well and credit is due to those at wealdstone for getting the game on, the biggest problem was the wind. We do have the excuse of the ever increasing injury list but these games are over and we need to focus on the games ahead.

Think back to our last "home season" at homelands, the club almost folded full stop! We only won league game at home and not many away either, and a to see Maidstone draw felt like a win, as things were that bad! Okay, we have lost a the last couple of games, but it is not all that bad really, at least we are not being relegated!

Unfortunately we lost to better side and yes the team worked incredibly hard to their credit. However, we had to work incredibly hard because our general passing and distribution was poor today in comparison to wealdstone. We are also lacking the vocal "encouragement" of watts at the back and mickey's determination in the middle. Wealdstone deserved the victory yesterday and looked the stronger team for the majority of the game. That said, I thought Zac really put in a good shift and scored a great goal. Let's get back to winning ways on boxing day. COYS.

With the baby? I'm still in a happy place where I'm delighted I've got a team to support at all, and at home. True we have signed some excellent players from higher leagues, but it can take time to meld an unbeatable team from them, just ask Daniel Levy!

God some people on here really do start up some pointless subjects! Lost again get over it the way u go on sounds like are record reads p24 w 0 d 4 l 20 not that we've been beaten by 2 sides in the top 3 or 4! And we've only had 3 defeats! God knows what u would done in the old Ryman premier days when we lost every other week!

Hear, hear. Whingers take note and go back to G*llingham. F uck me, I was only saying expectations are going to be raised amongst certain people because of our signings. And so they should be. Not everybody is a club wag / was there in 97 / gives a flying fu ck about sittingbourne. However if you think everybody who has a contrary opinion should piss off to Gillingham then fine. I'm done. Admitably not Gillingham (arsenal here whenever there's no clash). I'll let you take up the filming as you're obviously a better supporter than I could ever be. If I remember rightly nobody questioned Jim Thompson / you all towed the party line back then. That went well for the club didn't it?
