According to the NLP, Margate have appointed Terry Brown as new manager. Brown is the ex AFC Wimbledon boss, and a heavy hitter, so some show of ambition stirring in Thanet.

This week's update confirms new players at Margate, ground improvements at Hartsdown Park starting in Feb 2014 and an ambition to be challenging for a place in the football league. Adds a bit of edge to Boxing Day.

Better start planning for administration now, because that's where it'll lead in the end. |

They used to get big crowds before? I'm sure they'd get the numbers back if quality returned. It does surprise me when I see the attendances for Margate and ramsgate given the density of population down there. How many gate fans came to the Gallagher?
