Very good news if it's true, he was excellent against us.

Agreed if he was the quick lad up front when we played in the cup recently. He had the legs on our defence most of the game and looked very comfortable on the ball. Would be a good additional to the squad.

Ashley is a really good signing for you.
He broke into Gillingham's first team at 17 and was linked strong with a move to Premiership clubs (including Liverpool!)
He then fell out of favour at Gills and Allen announced he planning on releasing all their better scholars at the end of last season.
I think it was meant to be a scare tactic initially but he hasn't had a look in this season, so maybe not (and that's why he went on loan to Hythe).
He twice went to Hythe on loan (last campaign and obviously the past month).
Whenever I've seen him play, either up front or on either wing, he does look a threat with his pace.
On the separate note, what has happened to Hythe?
They used to look like they had a squad of 17/18. I now feel they only really have 6 or 7 decent players left!
The likes of Brendon Cass, Miller, Tom Hickman, Craig Cloke, one of the Winfield twins and Craig Thompson have now left and done alright elsewhere (or taken a break). There was also Dolans who went to Hastings.

Confirmed on Twitter that Ashley Miller has indeed signed on with us for a month after turning down Hythe

This seems to have been reported all over the local sports news and on Hythes main site, the only place it hasn't been confirmed is on our OS.
Perhaps they're waiting for the usual photo opportunity at the GS but he's already interracting with Frannie and Alex Brown on social media !

I can't find any references this anywhere. The only story on Hythe's website is one welcoming him back for a second spell.

I spoke to someone in the know last night and they are looking at formalising the process. Until this is done they won't announce anything official. Makes sense to me.
