Taunton are on free fall at the moment, not having won any of their last ten league games, including none of their last six at home. Only Eastbourne are below them in the form table. So, something's got to give - either they suddenly find form at our expense, or maybe Stones actually score a few for a change? Taunton have shipped 4-0 and 6-0 recently. It was 1-1 at the G back in August, but different times now. Hopefully we can score early and press on from there, before Aveley on Monday. They beat us 1-0 in the home game, so we do not want to concede a double.

I've heard from.people already down that way that Tim would have been better off trying hire a boat instead of a coach. My friend in Bristol says the first thing he does in the morning is count the dead fish on his lawn where his pond keeps flooding due to rain.

I know 3G isn’t for everyone but the amount of money these postponements costs a club must be quite significant. They have to pay their staff still and the rearrangements will likely mean midweek games with less fans. Must be tough to manage cash flow

There are 17 NLS games still to be played at Taunton. Excluding tomorrow, there are 9 Saturdays and a Bank Holiday weekend before the season’s scheduled to end on April 20th

Perhaps they could re-arrange it for Saturday morning of 13 April - we could then play Truro in the afternoon as planned. Think of the money it would save the club and us supporters Lol. Alternatively, We could play Taunton on the Sunday -Back in the 70's I recall playing two games in two days - I think we played Scarborough away on the Saturday and Northwich at home on the Sunday. (Northwich were playing Dartford or Gravesend on the Saturday if I recall correctly). I remember when playing Sunday football having double headed games - absolute killers.

Back in the county league we played 2 Cup finals in 5 hours and won both. Playing both on a Saturday and Sunday is a good idea unfortunately by then Truro will be playing their home games at Gateshead.
