Seems a smart deal. High ceiling. Low risk. If he puts in the work I reckon he will do well

Looks like he played for H&W in their one FA Cup match earlier in the season

According to that link, 1.96cm, so a good target man. Exactly what we need since Levi left.
Fingers crossed , just a shame he's cup tied.

Thats the West Brom player with the same name haha He is a similar height though, about 6'5", but not your typical target man. He's tricky on the ball and very mobile for his size, a real handful running at defenders. Dulwich had him as a youngster 6 seasons ago but he was raw then, and couldn't get regular starts in a promotion season. He had a good loan spell at Kingstonian and turned down a new contract to stay there for more game time. Then they changed the manager and the new bloke weirdly didn't rate him, so he went to Enfield and scored about 30 goals in less than a full season to earn a move to Bolton, but that coincided with them going into administration and getting relegated. He ended up back at Enfield, scored another shedload of goals, then went to Havant at the start of last season.

He was quite lively coming on as sub last week.
Looks like exactly what we need. Even if he don't score prolifically, he is likely to create space for others

I do remember reading his name quite often in match reports in the Non league paper so he must be doing something right. I'd like to know why he fell out with King and whether George can keep him happy here. Let's hope he has a blinding next 3 months or so.

Interesting article from The Athletic about Faal's move to Crawley. Apologies for formatting as the website is behind a paywall
