Jeche had a falling out with Elokobi when he left to join QPR. If I remember right, George said he wouldn't be welcome back at the club why he was manager That’s the pattern emerging that I am concerned about. Is George’s personality just too big for anyone else to live under? Jeche expected the club to keep a place open for him while he went off and trialled for other clubs. Why should we him back with an attitude like that.

Maybe because we are desperate for good players because we can’t pay them enough? Beggars can’t be choosers. We can’t afford to be so prideful about players with attitudes and we can’t burn bridges as it means we end up with players like Andrade and Ludovica. I’d take a skilful upstart over boring rubbish every time. It’s not like the boring rubbish look as if they would die for the badge either!

Sam Bone wasn't that good and was often injured, Papadopoulos and Higgs are better. Much better! George gets it wrong some times, but boy does he get it right some times too!

Jeche was released by QPR at the end of the season and ended up at Hemel Hempstead 7 or 8 games into the next season. The fact nobody higher up the leagues picked him up all summer when trials and pre-season was going on says a lot to me.

So the fact no one higher up picked up Sam Corne, George Fowler etc means the same ? So what does it mean ?

To me it says a lot about how he left Maidstone (spoken about further back in this thread) and how he or his dad (who I believe is his agent) handled his post release from QPR career. He scored tonnes for QPR U23's and still ended up back in the National South. It's nothing to do with our current squad, it's to do with his representation and career management.

Another game where Matt Rush was stuck on the bench.
I'd take him back, but the question is can we afford him, you have to imagine he got a big pay rise at Sutton.

I think we would all take him back but here is one for you.................how many players have returned to the Stones from other clubs in the past three years? Anyone?
