Joe Ellul's retirement didn't last long, he's now returned to Ramsgate as a player coach. Joe Ellul has retired more times than an aging heavyweight boxer. Player Coach to TT Walters and Roarie D with Tommy Hadler is my mate in goal. Wonder if the Binnom will be next to be tempted to Southwood? If they play Folkestone this season it will be quite the reunion! I saw this last night and was slightly confused - I thought Joe and his wife made the move to Thailand? I saw Joe was back in the UK for Tom Hadler's wedding over the summer but was definitely back in Thailand very recently. Seems very sudden he's back here and signing for a club? |

Yusuf Mersin came back from the shipbuilders in Ireland and joined Mickleover fc (Derby) a couple of months back in the Northern Premier League - ground capacity 1500 average gate 400. Probably a good gig for him. Surely not full time pay though?  |

Last I heard from my Midlands contact was that Mickelover were on the cusp of financial ruin so unless they have new investors he will not be on full time pay or if he is it won't be for long as they will go tits-up. |

Wonder if it will meet his hearts desire?
Mercenary as he is he was one of of not the best ever keepers so it would be a shame to see him take a tumbledown the leagues.
Anyone got any goss?

I do t really care too much. He didn’t want to play here is all I know,
As much as he will always be remembered for the cup run, I won’t be sparing him much thought
