He is to quite a few of us Swordy. Many other players did more for longer according to the criteria you apply but for me he is the only player I have ever known to lead the Genco in chants and come and join us in the stand during a game. Even at Ipswich I heard the faithful still saying âeverybody downâ in Luque accents. Stones legend indeed. I'm afraid the use of the word legend has become far to easy these days. Luque was a good player, nothing more nothing less, and regardless of what he done whilst injured that is all I'll remember him for.

Swordy fyi Joe Pigott 17 goals in 45 games for Stones Joan Luque 24 goals in 43 games for Stones Just sayin!

Iâm with Sword on this. One great season doesnât make you a legend. Very few stones of the modern era have earned that status. Lee Worgan, Tom Mills and Alex Flisher are obvious choices and Jay Saunders of course. Probably a few I havenât thought of, but they were all at the club for many seasons.

Bet he is not being paid as much as when he was with us. Imagine we had his and Luques wages freed up for the whole seasonâŚ. May have played out differently.

Romain to the rescue (for one month) at Dartford. They are in trouble.
