I nearly went for a loss last weekend. Had to go different, and felt there hadn’t been a draw for a while. Never chase your gambling losses with wild predictions.

The table at page 1 has been updated.
It all went a bit retro this week didn't it? Stones winning the KSC and then slamming someone in the last home game of the season has a very Alliance Premier League feel to it. I can remember Telford getting thrashed 6-0 in the very early 80s, and I'm pretty sure we did the same to someone else around the same time as we chased someone (probably Enfield) down for the title on goal difference. Someone of a similar vintage may be able to fill in the gaps for me.
Anyway, some predictors were clearly emulating mid-table PL sides and were on the beach as just 16 people took part, none of whom expected the retro-Stones show, but at least most backed us to get revenge for the return fixture. Clydestone gets the plaudits this week for not only picking up the best attendance, but also for breaking into the top 3 - a season high.
Due to popular demand, the predictor league will carry on into the play-off phase with the same rules and rewards. Aveley seem to have been a bogey side this season having beaten us twice already without us scoring.
If sweet revenge is a dish best served cold - will Aveley get their just desserts?

I don't for one minute think it's going to be 4-0, but why stop now...
And I did, sort of, get the score right - there was a four goal difference...
Attendance? Got it pretty close Saturday, but who would have thought three other optimistic chancers would have gone for 3,000+ - and got closer than me!! Bastards.
Anyway, I'm going for another 3,000+, even if it is Wednesday - so 3,200 again for me.

Wide difference in attendance estimates! Big game, but mid-week - impossible to call.
Feeling quite nervous about this one, would have much preferred Bath. I think we should edge it, but I'm pretty certain Aveley will get at least one.
My daughter says we win when I'm pessimistic, so we should be OK!
