The table at page 1 has been updated following the Dartford game. In the week that nws queried whether he was a broken clock or a broken record, never was there such a gimme as an away victory to ease the nerves of those looking anxiously at the play-off places. Practically everyone who took part picked up at least two points, the sole heretics being Hongkongstone, Cedric and stones1 who gave the unlikely scoreline of "Desmond". If that's code for something, do let me know. For my part - despite the evidence of my labours here - I let life I do have get in the way and consequently threw away at least three easy points. daveu and Pigbag were bang on the money and picked up 5 points each for their efforts. But what's this? Hold the front page. the closest predictor on the attendance was none other than serial attention seeker nws who was a mere 18 out. I note that the cries for an inquiry from other players aren't exactly deafening or filling up my inbox  So it's eyes down and look in for the visit of Weston-super-Mare who will be approaching a fixture that they know has absolutely no chance of being called off for a waterlogged pitch, a nice change I'm sure for our friends from the West Country enclave of the NLS. I'm feeling a little attacked🤣 I'd kept very quiet about attendance as I knew I was close. I can see out the rest of my life a happy man now I've achieved my ultimate goal All I have to do to finish above NWS is copy his score and attendance prediction five minutes before kick off. |

How on earth did I get to comfortable mid-table on predicting 4-0 for each game (except the one we actually won 4-0!!) and never getting anywhere near the crowd estimate??
Anyone with less than 63 points - prediction league? You're having a laugh!

Getting the outcome right would have a haul of 117 at this point. |
