The table at page 1 has been updated to include the results from the St Albans and Chelmsford games.
It's a funny old game said Greavsie, and the last ten days around the Gallagher have certainly proved that. From squeaking past the division whipping boys down on the coast, we ease past the bully boy tactics from a team threatening to upset perennial pacesetters Yeovil, whilst in the meantime losing to early season relegation candidates for the second time this season.
Bernie breaks clear at the top, and pre-empting
nws' inevitable request, the National Crime Agency have found no link to
Bernie's burst of form in attendance predictions. Storming up the table however is
stewjm who is repeating last season's streak of late hot form in the run-in.
Royalstone has had a similarly good week and equals
stewjm's efforts this week. Others to be mentioned in dispatches are
1018 who is fighting to break out of the bottom section by almost doubling their score this week alone. The broken clock that is
nws also pulled in a five pointer by backing the Stones against Chelmsford.
Pigbag and
bear5 picked up the attendance points.
So it's eyes down and look in for a trip to our good friends at
Dartford who aren't having the best of times, their last victory was by the odd goal in three at the Crabble almost a month ago with their last three games ending in defeat at home to Aveley and away to Torquay and Braintree. One could look at this with some optimism, but listen carefully and you'll hear that whisper in the shadows - it's a funny old game...
