Biv will make a good bench player and thats about it. Like Earle. And dont forget Elokobi has won the same amount of league matches as a Manager as everyone on this forum and he has lost many many more than everyone on this forum. just saying. Christ on a bike! At least see the lad play before laying into him. No one pay attention to the last few years ? You act like he's never played for Maidstone |

Height makes no difference, youare are either good enough or you ain't.How tall are you? Under 6'4"? You may feel the need to be very concerned without seeing Harley play but personally i think the time tp be concerned is when the league season starts. Also a lot of people want to criticise your Bivesh who i thought did a good job last season playing in a team which had been struggling. One minute some of you are saying give the youngsters a go and the next saying they are not good enough. I think our manager (who has played in the premier league) knows more about football than virtually all of us on the forum and if he thinks the youngsters are good enough thats ok by me. I'm not normally negative, I just find the last 4 weeks have been outright trash and I can't see anything good coming out of this season with the squad and trialists that we currently have at the club. |

I’m not sure we are going to thrash out whether he is good enough or tall enough on here by listing past keepers etc.
He was released by Fulham - ok. I am sure they have the resources to be picky.

I just find it worrying that George said he is our number 2 (meaning he isnt at the standard that our manager wants for a No1 keeper) and now were only 8 days away from the season he is likely to be our No1 keeper. A guy who the manager already knows isnt good enough to be the No1 |

Other than this pre-season I don’t remember him playing for the first team. But that’s beside the point. Has George ever said Harley is not good enough or tall enough? George may well believe he can sign a better keeper to be #1 this season. Maybe George feels that, given a chance and time, Harley can become a good keeper at this level.
As for height did any of those critical of Harley's 5ft 10 or so see Theus of Haiti, she is just 5ft 4 and played a blinder against England.

I remember last season in the Prem giant keepers regularly conceding 4,5,6,7 goals,so your argument is wrong unless you are saying a keeper under 6ft would have let in 8,9,10 or more in. Maybe that he isn’t experienced enough yet? Your no 2 has to be good enough to be ready to play. Agreed it is a worry. I think we will likely pick a goalie up on loan. You see a lot of goalies loaned down the leagues. |
