All about levels and player ability I guess
I watch Whitstable Town fc as my 'second club' in the SCEFL Premier, one level below Ishmian
They play an attractive short passing game that all starts from the keeper.
It works well for them, its what they are good at.
They have the right players at that level to make it work.

On the highlights I would say at least two goals came from The Rams trying to play out from the back. Why do teams at that level try to play like Man City, especially against a team four leagues higher. That's what we try to do, and already cost us a few games. We just aren't good enough to do it. Nothing’s changed since two seasons ago then, except maybe more (and better) teams have sussed you out. Last time we played you we were one of only a couple of teams that didn’t give you time to do it, and I guess last year was more of the same. |

FGR get to replay their FA Cup tie against Scarborough on the 12th. Originally postponed for the same reason Barnsley were kicked out of the competition.

Marske United of the Northern Premier league need to find £120,000 or their days as a football club will be over. The supporters are blaming it on grossly overpaid players.

Another club with financial difficulties is Kings Lynn Town. And it's no wonder why when they are laying out £4,479 for a coach and overnight hotel stay at Southport. Since when has a 4 hour 200 mile coach trip become such hard labour. Pampered,overpaid ponces. Unbelievable Jeff!

Fisher statement says they have video footage of the incident and their 7 fans didn't cross the barrier to cause any trouble. This footage will be sent to the league as proof.

Millwall fans apparently. The Lydd boys won't run from Millwall. I remember the New Romney game v Maidstone in the County league when at half time the Lydd boys turned up to give the Romney fans a good kicking. Happy days😁 PS. This was also played on the wettest pitch I've ever seen,the ref was going to call it off but with 250 Stones fans looking at him with a murderous glint in their eyes he cacked his pants and said game on. He and his assistants donned their scuba gear and away we went. The wilderness years,loved it.😁 |

Further to my post that Kings Lynn Town fc are to spend £4,479 on an overnight stay at a hotel in Southport to save the 4 hour coach journey on match day their chairman has just released a statement saying they need £300,000 to avoid folding by the end of the season. High class stupidity from the Linnets.
